Dr. Stanley Fischer

Stanley Fischer most recently served on the board of Bank Hapoalim and the Peterson Institute for International Economics. Prior to that, Stanley served as the Vice Chairman for Citigroup Inc. He was on the Board of Governors and Vice Chairman for the Federal Reserve. Stanley has served as a fellow on the Council on Foreign Relations. He was also the First Deputy Managing Director for the International Monetary Fund and a Special Advisor to the Managing Director. He served as Vice President of Development Economics and Chief Economist at the World Bank. Stanley had a longstanding career in academia, including as the Killian Professor and the Head of the Department of Economics at MIT. He has held visiting positions at the Hebrew University and at the Hoover Institution at Stanford, and is the author of several books and numerous articles.
