Matching Gifts

Many companies match gifts made to non-profit organizations. Be sure to let us know if your company has a matching gift program so that you can maximize the impact of your donation. If you own a business, gifts can be made in the name of your business.

Charitable Bequests and Planned Gifts

Please consider including the National Library of Israel in your estate plan. This is a simple way to create a legacy and contribute to the collective memory of the Jewish people. Please consider adding the Library to your will, and please let us know when you do. For more information on planned gifts, including charitable trusts, charitable gift annuities, and insurance gifts contact adina@nliusa.org.

Stock and Appreciated Securities

Gifts of stock and securities may provide tax advantages to you. When you give your appreciated securities to NLI USA, your tax deduction is based on the full fair-market value on the date of the gift, and you avoid capital gains on approved securities. NLI USA holds an account First Republic Securities Company, DTC #0443. Please alert us before initiating a transfer.

Life Cycle Gifts

The National Library of Israel serves as meaningful vehicle for recognizing life cycle occasions, both joyous and sad. Donors make gifts in honor, memory, or celebration of an individual or event. When gifts are made, NLI USA informs the individual in whose name the gift was made. This is a special way to support the Library, acknowledge a special person, and spread the word about the Library.
