Allison Lee

Allison is a seasoned nonprofit leader with more than three decades of experience advancing mission-driven organizations. She joins NLI USA after serving as Managing Director of PEN America Los Angeles, where she oversaw major gifts, community engagement, and strategic communications efforts. Prior to that, Allison served as Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Development Officer for TIME’S UP, working closely with board leadership to secure transformational philanthropic support and strengthen organizational capacity. Earlier in her career, she served as Vice President of External Affairs at Bet Tzedek Legal Services, where she led efforts to expand revenue and launch a sustaining endowment campaign. She also spent eight years as the founding Executive Director of American Jewish World Service – Southern California, building the organization’s regional presence and impact. Allison earned her B.A. in Political Science and American Studies, magna cum laude, from Tufts University.
