Abby Joseph Cohen
Abby Joseph Cohen is an advisory director and senior investment strategist at Goldman Sachs. She began her career as an economist at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, DC. Abby is a presidential councillor at Cornell University and is a life overseer of Weill Cornell Medicine. She is a member of the board executive committees of the Brookings Institution and the Jewish Theological Seminary, where she previously served as board chair. She is a former board chair of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute, among numerous other leadership roles on nonprofit boards. Abby is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and is an adjunct professor at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business. Abby’s career in financial services is the subject of a Harvard Business School case study, a BusinessWeek cover story, and a profile in the New Yorker, including a cartoon.
