Abby Horowitz
Abby leads the efforts to document how October 7th and its aftermath have been experienced on North American college campuses, as part of NLI’s Bearing Witness archive initiative. Abby has worked in a variety of non-profit and university settings, including Cornell University Hillel, Emory University’s Institute for the Study of Modern Israel, and the Metro Atlanta Community Mikvah. She is also a writer and artist whose fiction, non-fiction, and graphic essays have been published in a wide array of literary journals and in national Jewish media outlets, including the Forward and Moment magazine. Abby has a BA in English from Dartmouth College, an MA in Jewish Studies from Emory University, and an MFA in Creative Writing from the Warren Wilson Program for Writers.
