Heather Reisman

Heather Reisman is the founder, Chair and CEO of Indigo Inc., Canada’s largest book retailer and
the host of the podcast Well Said. She is also the co-founder of Kobo, a leading global
eReading company. Formerly, she was Managing Director of Paradigm Consulting, the
strategy and change management firm she co-founded. She is a former Governor of
McGill University and of the Toronto Stock Exchange, and serves on numerous other
boards. Heather has Co-Executive-produced documentary films and recently co-authored
Imagine It! A Handbook for a Happier Planet. She is an Officer of the Order of Canada and
the recipient of eight Honorary Doctorates. Heather has numerous distinctions, including
recognition as one of the Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada, selection by the
Financial Times of London as one of the Top 50 Women in World Business, and induction
into the Canadian Business Hall of Fame.
